Agent Hands Liverpool & Tottenham Fresh Hope Of Signing £44m South American Star

Liverpool and Tottenham’s hopes of signing Malcom have been handed a huge boost after his agent revealed no deal has been agreed with Inter Milan.

The summer transfer window is open and managers are working hard on their transfer targets so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Liverpool and Tottenham have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Malcom…

Liverpool and Tottenham’s hopes of signing Bordeaux attacker Malcom have been handed a huge boost after his agent revealed no deal has been agreed with Inter Milan, according to TeamTalk.

Malcom joined Bordeaux from Corinthians two years ago and he’s developed in to one of the most exciting young attackers in European football having provided 12 goals and 8 assists last season.

The 21-year-old is tipped to become a senior international with the Brazilian squad after representing his country at U23 level and his potential has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs.

TeamTalk claim that Liverpool and Tottenham are among the clubs to have registered their interest in signing Malcom over the past few months but it looked like they could miss out as more recent speculation suggested he was set for a move to Inter Milan.

However, the South American’s agent, Fernando Garcia, has given Liverpool and Tottenham fresh hope after insisting that a move to the San Siro has not been agreed.

Garcia is quoted by TeamTalk as saying:

“There’s no deal at all with Inter. They are of course a great club, but Malcom is a professional, and, all things considered, the right formula can’t be no buy-back option.

“The buy-back must be mandatory, otherwise Bordeaux will keep on saying no. I’m definitely not able to state where my client’s future is going to be, at this time.”

This news is sure to have alerted the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham as TeamTalk suggest the English duo could yet compete for the signing of £44m-rated Malcom this summer.

Jurgen Klopp is in the market for another attacking midfielder as he looks to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho following his January move to Barcelona and Liverpool could turn their attention to Malcom after seeing a proposed move for Nabil Fekir collapse.

Mauricio Pochettino is also expected to further strengthen his squad after another encouraging campaign last season and Malcom would provide Tottenham with another top class option in the final third if they could lure him to north London.
