£30 million Stiker to Sign Man United Deal

By on February 7, 2011

Dimitar Berbatov Dimitar Berbatov of Manchester United in action during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester United and Aston Villa at Old Trafford on February 1, 2011 in Manchester, England.Despite the loss to Wolves on Saturday, Manchester United have had an impressive season in front of goal, with their top scorer Dimitar Berbatov having grabbed a quite brilliant 19 goals in the League.

A man who was labelled “Berbaflop” after two disappointing seasons in front of goal at United has improved massively for United who paid over £30 million for him in 2008. He will now be rewarded for his efforts with a new deal worth another £20,000 a week on his current £100,000 a week contract.

The January player of the months’ current deal has a year remaining, and the League leaders are keen to tie him to a new three year contract worth a massive £120,00 a week with negotiations expected to start before the end of the season.

Berbatov is unsurprisingly happy to stay at Old Trafford as he is clearly comfortably in his stride, showing the reasons Ferguson brought him to Manchester United or such a hefty fee in the first place from Tottenham.

Tell me what you think!

    It`s unfortunate that SAF has opted to pay Berbaflop such a hefty pay per week; when his deliverables are queastionable and inconsistent so to say. We want a striker whose scoring capabilities are not doubted especially whenever he takes to the field. This Berbatov guy scores once and plays two or three more games without scoring. The money ought to be spent on a relatively young and energetic striker, midfielder etc

    i have to agree with mikey but i do believe that berba has not fullfilled his potential and i agree that we should have bought suarez, however this this is SAF he knows what he is doing…and it shows, berba is the top scorer not only in the club but in the whole premier league.

    Berbatov worth the £120,000 per week when compare with Rooney who earn a staggering £250,000 per week. However, I agree with you that we should have bought Suarez.

    So berba who’s scored goals in an empty net because of fletcher’s,scholes’s,giggsy’s,nani’s and rooney’s passes should get a 120k per week is awful..the looserpools got suarez,there is also hulk and aguero oute there and we’re still playing with berbaflop..

    Couldnt we get carrol or suarez. Is SAF getting old or what? Couldnt he get Torres? CHelsea, city and pools are getting stronger. THeir moral are high our players are getting lower this defeat isnt the first but its the start. How long will referee protect us, how long will chance be on our side?

    I don’t see us in line with real,barca,chelski,city and pool ambition. I think spurs are more ambitious than us..

    Lot of plastic fans here.. Berba is the leading goal scorer in league. He has scored more than the likes of villa, aguero,ibra etc even with an below average midfield.. As the idiot said above berba scores at empty nets, then what would you do with wayne backstabbing rooney who cant even do that..
    Last season berba scored some goals and provided tons of assist while rooney scored a lot and berba got the stick.. This season its reversed and still its berba who gets the stick despite a certain mr ambition who is terrible this season..
    Berba rulez..

      I agree with Red we should sold Rooney and get money big buy 2 young forward. Pools are doing better business and getting stronger. Pools should go down and no up. Without suarez they hold chelsea and can have score 3. we play them soon hope berba help us. Sell rooney. we dont need pepe.

    to compete in CL we need more firepower, we need ppl who when get 1 chance score twice and not like berba who in 5 shots will score 1. Overall the team is OK . I think rooney isnt happy. What can cause this?

    I am not surprised we have fans like redrobin. No doubt Manu is going nowhere…..

    We sold Tevez and Ronaldo see what they are delivering. If we had fans who support good players Berba would be out.

    Berba is best in the Air but deliveries doesnt choose players to land. So it can be RON or Berba and they have to deal, unfortunately we all know when it comes to Berba it will be a miss and his hands will be on his head. For how long we need predators like Cantona, ronaldo, drogba,Torres, Messi, villa. We are a great club we need great players not average fans and average players.

    How many clubs expressed their desire to buy Berba. How man of them are top rated team.?

    @alex_united
    Every true man utd fan knows that you never call the club manu…
    You have talked about deliveries..What deliveries…..? The only winger that produces a cross is giggs..Nani produces a decent cross every 20 attempts.. Park is a good player who cuts inside.. If one has to judge berba on the crosses, then we have to wait until valencia is back to his best…
    You do realise that berba is only behind messi and ronaldo in terms of goals..
    What i dont get is why should anyone target berba when you have rooney who has scored 3 goals from open play.. Is it because he is the english golden boy?
    @bela
    1 in 5 chances? You are seriously over estimating our midfield.. Again i ask why attack berba when you have mr ambition rooney before you..
    19 goals in 21 matches isnt good enough and i thought city fans were pathetic…
