It may not be his usual position but Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie won’t be thinking about a future as a goalkeeper after conceding a goal to his 5-year-old son in front of the watching press. Thinking he had a decent position, Van Persie could only watch on as Van Persie JNR found the top corner with a looping left-footed strike.

Being under 5ft tall and having a left foot as sweet as this, you would be forgiven to think the kid was the little magician Lionel Messi! Cue ‘Arsenal to snap up new Messi” headlines in the morning! To be fair to Van Persie SNR, i don’t think many keepers on the planet could have stopped this effort…..
