Ex-Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson got one over his former side by guiding new club West Brom to a 2-1 victory over the Reds at the Howthorns. Skrtel put the visitors ahead with a powerful header before Chris Brunt levelled things from the spot for West Brom. With 90 minutes on the clock West Brom got their second penalty of the day, Brunt once again making no mistake from 12 yards to seal the win.
