Arsenal Premier League Champions! Here’s How They WILL Do It…

Arsenal have been written off as title contenders after a loss of several points over the recent games, but here’s how they could win it, and we’re breaking it down: Game by game

Sure, Sir Alex’s men are in the driver’s seat; if things remain the same, Rooney and company will be hoisting the Premier League trophy at the end of the year. But I shall say this, nothing is ever written on stone in football.

Matchday 31 (Arsenal) , Matchday 32 (Manchester United)

Blackpool vs Arsenal

Manchester United 2-0 Fulham

An away fixture for Arsenal this weekend, the day after Man Utd beat Fulham 2-0 at Old Trafford to open up a 10-point gap.  There will no margin for error if the Gunners are to make the May Day showdown with United at the Emirates count for something. They must leave no points on the table whenever possible, and they must start at Bloomfield Road.

End of Week: Arsenal 62 points   Manchester United 69 points

Matchday 32 (Arsenal) , Matchday 33 (Manchester United)

Arsenal vs Liverpool FC

Newcastle United vs Manchester United

The week that will be the most important to keep Arsenal’s title hopes alive, as they might drop points against the sometimes unpredictable Liverpool side and Manchester United facing the stiffest fitness test in a while, playing 3 matches in a grueling 7 days for the Red Devils.

Manchester United are in a crucial part to their season, with their clash with Manchester rivals Manchester City at Wembley perhaps leaving their clash with Newcastle to play second fiddle, so Arsenal will be looking for dropped points here.

End Of Week: Arsenal 65 points Manchester United 70 points

Matchday 33 (Arsenal) , Matchday 34 (Manchester United)

Bolton vs Arsenal

Manchester United vs Everton

I am predicting routine victories for both Arsenal and Manchester United for this weekend, reason being that their teams are too strong for the likes of Everton and Bolton.

Although Manchester United will certainly be fatigued by their fixture overhaul, they should have enough dept to get them through this match as this week promises a rather easy going one for the Red Devils from Manchester.

End of Week: Arsenal 68 points Manchester United 73 points

Matchday 34 (Arsenal)

Tottenham vs Arsenal

The ferocious North London derby takes place on Matchday 33 for the Gunners, with the fixture to be played at Tottenham’s home ground, White Hart Lane. Will certainly be surprises here, and I’m predicting a score draw here for Arsenal.

End of Week: Arsenal 69 points Manchester United 73 points

Matchday 35 (Arsenal and Manchester United) : May Day

Arsenal vs Manchester United

If things go to plan for the Gunners, this will be the game which decides both Arsenal and Manchester United’s title aspirations, with this encounter at the Emirates set to prove decisive in this year’s title race. The last time Arsene Wenger beat Sir Alex Ferguson was during the 2008/09 season at home, and Arsenal have lost the last two meetings at the Emirates.

But this time, the Gunners will be pumped up and the Red Devils will be on the back of injuries and fatigue, so I’m going for an Arsenal victory here.

End of Week: Arsenal 72 points Manchester united 73 points

Matchday 36 (Arsenal and Manchester United)

Manchester United vs Chelsea

Stoke City vs Arsenal

An arguably simple week for the Gunners on matchday 35, but there’s always the unlikely element of surprise. The main story of the weekend will definitely be Manchester United vs Chelsea’s second duel. Thinking that Arsenal will have a routine win for this game and a few dropped points for Manchester United at Old Trafford.

End of Week: Arsenal 75 points Manchester United 74 points

Matchday 37 (Arsenal and Manchester United)

Arsenal vs Aston Villa

Blackburn Rovers vs Manchester United

Another easy fixture for the Gunners against a stuttering Villa team who have failed to impress under French manager Gerard Houlier. Also should be an easy win for Manchester United, predicting wins for both sides here.

End of Week: Arsenal 78 points Manchester United 77 points

Matchday 38 (Arsenal and Manchester United)

Fulham vs Arsenal

Manchester United vs Blackpool

It’s the final day of the Premier League, and it’s still going to be down to the wire in our prediction, with only one point separating Arsenal from Manchester United at the top.

Craven Cottage, a lovely place to get that Premier League title, Arsenal would have certainly preferred to have won it at the Emirates, but they have to settle. Both teams will probably get victories on the last week of football.

It would be quite an achievement if everything I have outlined comes to pass, and the Gunners ended their trophy drought with a come-from-behind Premier League Championship over Manchester United. While far from impossible, it’s not exactly probable either. To be sure, it would require the squad to remain relatively healthy and play consistently better than they have been lately. Is that impossible? No, no it isn’t.

Arsenal wins the Premier League!
