Arsenal Facing A (Once Again) Resurgent Liverpool Side

Arsenal take on a Liverpool side very different to the one they faced on the opening day of the season, where Roy Hodgson managed a Reds side to a 1-1 draw after Joe Cole saw red and Pepe Reina spilled a late ball into his own net.

Andy Carroll and Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez look to have found the perfect strike partnership, and what better way to put it to test than to potentially ruin Arsenal’s title bid? But feelings will be mixed, as Liverpool would want to ‘give away’ this win to Arsenal to stop Manchester United in their march to their 19th league title.

But Kenny Dalglish will surely not be one for giving away free points, and will look to this match to try and close the gap further on the top4. Andy Carroll will look to dominate the likes of Koscielny (who had a nightmare debut against Liverpool, getting sent off) and Squilacci.

Luis Suarez’s dribbling skills will also be on display as Liverpool will certainly want to end their season on a high note, after their largely disappointing start to the campaign. Liverpool will also want to see more of their young defender John Flanagan after his impressive display against Manchester City.
