TRANSFER NEWS: Inter Milan Preparing Bid For Arsenal’s Fabregas

By on April 16, 2011

Inter Milan are preparing to do battle with Spanish giants Barcelona for the signature of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas this summer.

This rumour was as reported by CaughtOffside, and says that the Inter Milan boss is unhappy with the balance of his midfield and wants to bring in Fabregas to play alongside Dutch sensation Wesley Sneijder.

They picked up the news from news agency Calcio Mercato, who claim Inter Milan want to raid the Premier League for not just Fabregas, but they are also intent on taking want-away Manchester City striker, Carlos Tevez.

The Source claims:

Having seen the Gunners miss out on any silverware for five seasons, Arsene Wenger could face a battle to keep his top stars at the club if Arsenal do not wrestle the Premier League crown from Man United this season.

There is also apparent interest in other Emirates stars with the likes of Andrei Arshavin, Samir Nasri, Robin Van Persie and Gael Clichy all linked with interest from Spain, Italy and Germany.

So what are your views on this news, will Fabregas stay at Arsenal, or move to Barcelona, or do you think that there is an outside possibility of a Inter Milan move?

Stupid comment by hec. You dont “let” a player go who is under contract. You sell him. And because you own him, you set the price, not the team who want to buy him. There is no meeting half way or discounts because he played for you once. Offer £50million and hes yours. Any less and you can piss off and try to convince the world that arsenal are imprisoning cesc for another year.

When you’ve invested so much time, effort and money in a player, you don’t let them go.
You can have him for the small price of 60 mil. If not- feck off, there are others on the line for him.

Hec: “You cant keep Cesc any longer , its not fair let the kid go , so he can win some things….”

As the captain, isn’t Cesc supposed to lead the lads on the pitch to win? Seems a great deal of Cesc’s winning silver at Arsenal falls on Cesc.
