Liverpool seem to be very busy at the moment, with many players set to depart and many linked with a move to Merseyside, so let’s check out the latest rumours:
Jovanovic and Poulsen to go
Well, here’s an extract from Sportingo, and I guess that’s just telling us the obvious as both those players never really did make the cut at Anfield, with Poulsen being, in my opinion, a bigger flop than the Serbian left midfielder/winger/striker. So it seems as though they are going to go…..
…But Poulsen wants to stay
According to the Danish man’s agent, Poulsen has already snubbed a move to Danish side Copenhagen, in favour for fighting for a place at Liverpool FC, with his agent claiming that
Christian really likes life at Liverpool, both on and off the field. He has a contract for another two years and will continue working hard to secure more playing time.
So there you have it, our midfield man is looking to stay at Merseyside, where he’s not the most at welcome.
Another ‘Close’ Deal
Apparently, CaughtOffside are reporting that Liverpool FC are ‘close’ to signing Ligue 1 player, Dimitri Payet. Damien Comolli is apparently a known admirer of the winger and wants to bring him to Anfield in the summer.
