Liverpool are back at fortress Anfield for their match against Birmingham City as they are looking to put their away woes behind them, but Kenny Dalglish will be boosted by Liverpool’s very spirited performance against Arsenal last week, as they grabbed a point in that game after sitting back for nearly the whole game.

Stuart Parnaby is expected to be fit to face the Reds after being withdrawn from last week’s match, although they will have Curtis Davies is on standby. Nikola Zigic (hip), Obafemi Martins (groin) and Martin Jiranek all remain major doubts.
