Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen made his long-awaited comeback from injury and lasted the full 90-minutes as Arsenal reserves held Man Utd reserves to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

The Belgian was in fine form and showed Arsene Wenger just what he’s been missing this season, and he has declared himself fit for a first team return. Although Wenger has already ruled Vermaelen out of the forthcoming tie at Old Trafford this Sunday. United’s Darren Fletcher also made a comeback following a virus.     Just for the record, the match on Sunday is at the Emirates, NOT at Old Trafford. A careless mistake.

      cos it is obvious in the very beginning of the video that the game was held at old trafford..
