So that what this ‘world famous’ bloke looks like! Never heard of the guy, just hope he conducts himself well and upholds the tradition of the true ‘Liverpool Way’.

Ha! And we have a go at Americans for being insular and unaware of anything outside their own country. I guess basketball isn’t your sport but this guy has been a superstar since he joined the professional ranks straight out of school and instantly became one of the best in the game. Think of him as the Stevie G of Cleveland, except LeBron moved to the basketball equivalent of Chelsea after only 5 years. Of course his home town team never won a damn thing so it’s not quite the same. The only thing he left behind was a bunch of very angry fans supporting a below-average team.

So you’re trying to say he’s the equivalent of Fernando Torres?

Cleveland were title contenders with LeBron…they were not below-average. He is worse than Torres.

Im a life long fan for Liverpool. I was born in England, but moving to Canada opened up the door to another sport that is followed immensely in North America. In some regards you can say Lebron is like Torres by leaving Cleveland. But i honestly dont care since i never even heard of Cleveland before Lebron was drafted there. However i did hear about Lebron, and its because of him that Cleveland were title contenders. Now that hes on Miami, playing with Wade and Bosh who are around the same age, hes challenging for the NBA title. The NBA has number of teams that could win the championship where as the premier league only have 3-4 teams capable of it. Two totally different sports, torres left for a title, lebron left for a title. But Torres abandoned liverpool and never had hope or faith in them, Lebron left a team that he tried to carry many times but had to much baggage. Both teams had to move on, thats the fact with sports.
