Surely your headline should read ‘no more than 150 angry Arsenal fans, representing less than 1/4 of 1% of the total stadium attendance, protest…’

they were from 500 to 800 in total not 150 but worring thing is it shouldnt have come to this.if they had held the protest after the game thousends others would’ve joined them because most of the people didnt even know about the protest. wenger and his yes man board are in trouble if nothing changes.

    Always good to see 🙂

The team can’t hack it on the pitch for 38 games and now the fans are splitting, a few weeks ago there were reports of scuffles breaking out inside the Fly Emirates Stadium between rival groups of home fans.

I gotta say there are 19 other lots of premier league fans looking at you lot and laughing their arses off.

United fans protest the glazers, Liverpool fans protest absolutely anything that takes their eye but in the midst of it all they are generally as one.

Maybe you should get another divide in your ground – home fans pro, home fans against and away fans.

They were mainly protesting about price rises on season tickets, and their was no mention about trophies on their press release. But never mind who cares about accuracy.

These idiots should have sang “I’m Arsenal till we lose”

Plastic idiots. Whinging never did any good. Is it really Arsenals fault that we’re up against teams who spend 500 million thanks to their sugar dadies?

If there is so much money to spend, why did we make a LOSS last financial year??? Has Hill Wood got half a billion sat there in his back pocket?

IMO its amazing we have even remained competitive in this world of financial doping. I understand the complaints against season ticket rises, but wages are rising for every team thanks to the ch*lsea and c*ty sugar daddies. The authorities need to crack down on those clubs cos thats what is affecting prices here.

But these people pretending somehow they are the ‘real supporters’???!!! All they are doing is splitting the club in two. I’d be interested to know if these people stayed behind at the end, or if they were amoung the idiots who cheered when Scquilachi went off and booed the team at the end.

However poor the team was, all this division and ‘supporters’ attacking their own is 10 times as heart breaking.

Alot of these fans have supported Arsenal for decades, get out from behind your computer and feel the sting of the ticket prices for half hearted performances.

They were here before Wenger and will be after he’s gone.

And for the other comment about it being 150, it sure wasnt just 150 singing about the ticket prices in the stadium

Have to say that was the worst protest ever, there were people checking their watches and sloping off after a few minutes in case they missed the kick off! In typical Arsenal style they could only muster up about 3 songs. Wheres’ the fckuin money? Its standing right in front of you and all around you, just look at the size of the emirates development that has been constructed, highbury square and the other developments around the ground, look at the £110m wage bill, london colney, shenley, hale end and the money spent upgrading the stations. I am not for one minute happy where the money has been spent, but a strategic decision was made by the board to safeguard the club’s future for decades to come. The price of this has also meant no silverware, but this was quite obviously expected by the board, otherwise they would have sacked the manager. The fact is that Wenger has achieved exactly what has been asked of him, in fact he has almost achieved more than that. I doubt very much when the board announced the move to the emirates and all the other off pitch improvements they expected 3 cup finals as well as 6 seasons of CL qualification. Remember we almost won the Champions League during that time as well.

let me tell you where the money is. that stadium and all those property development projects are built from supporters money but who is reaping the profits?? board member who just made millions out of shares used all this investment to make their own profits what did they do for the team or the supporter?? when you wont pay some extra cash for the players who we actully needed (shawrzer in the summer and samba in the winter) instead 6% hike to already the most expensive tickets in the world to watch the team choke at every crucial moment and bottle 2-0 4-0 leads, fans do turn against you and rightly so..

i think our professor of economics must ready to spent money in buying a highly experience goalkeeper,a vibrant defender and a young strikeable striker in preparing 4 next season and must ready to take all possible means to end all his trophyless season. Baba it is time to win a trophy and make all the fans happy to be a proud gunners fans

They are right to do this… think about it, these protests are warning and informing wenger and the board we need change. The typical “keyboard warriors” typing their frustrations on blogs arent gonna be heard so give up !
