REPORTS: Cahill “optimistic” Over Arsenal Move

By on May 18, 2011

gary-cahill-boltonThe Mirror reports that Bolton centre half is hopeful of securing a move to North London this summer.

Cahill has linked with the Gunners all season and the Arsenal hierarchy appears to have finally sanctioned a move for the England International, who is rated at £15million.

Arsenal vulnerability at the back has been evident all season and Arsene Wenger has been tacking the former Villa man for some time now and reports claim Cahill has told friends that he is confident a move to Arsenal will finally happen in the summer.

Wenger has a golden opportunity to put some demons to rest by signing Cahill and Parker quickly, and I mean before the sun comes up Arsene.

Question… If we were to only sign Cahill & Parker do you think that Arsenal fans would be happy with just those two players coming in next season?

I’m not crazy about Parker and Cahill….so no, I wouldn’t be happy with JUST those two signings. As cover, I don’t mind it.

JUST BUY SOME CLASS PLAYERS ALREADY!

Cahill for me was poor this season, he was not far better than Squallaci!

In big games, he disappears – Chris Samba is a better buy. Cahill is no rock, but a Teddy bear.

dont fancy cahill that much but scotty parker would be very much welcome at The Arsenal. He was west hams player of the year by a whole mile. and at the ripe old age of 30 he would bring some experience into the squad. song would benefit a lot from this guy.
