Redknapp Set For Audacious Striker Move

By on May 20, 2011

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been linked with Chelsea powerhouse Didier Drogba. The Ivorian has been in and out the Chelsea team since the arrival of £50 million Fernando Torres in January, but has recently hit a bit of form which could see the 33-year old stay on at the Bridge next season despite Tottenham’s interest.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set for a summer clear out and the Express reports that the former Marseille man is set for switch to White Hart Lane. It remains to be seen whether Drogba would be willing to make the move across London rather than end his career at Marseille as he has suggested in the past.

Drogba is slowing, but I think he can do another year at Chelsea. Torres has not sparked and there is no guarantee he will. So Chelsea fans would prefer to keep Drogba and see Torres go.

U r correct , man . There’s no guaranty of Torres to spark again. Moreover he’s not an allrounder lyk Didi . With Didi in the field the game looks too much interesting .

drogba, maluda, anelka, kalou, have done their best for the club but their time is up and should all be shipped out so we can concentrate on fresher legs. their presence is only a hindrance to others. lampard should also be offered a place on the bench
