Transfer News: Ronaldo To Return? Wenger To Break Transfer Policy? Blues Line-up Argentine

As we head closer and closer to the opening of the summer transfer window, here are some transfer rumours concerning Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Chelsea and Man City on alert for Aguero

Aguero is unsettled at Madrid, and Chelsea and Manchester City are set to pounce on the Argentinian. The lack of silverware has been cited as the reason behind Aguero’s intentions of leaving. Chelsea are looking for younger strikers to back up the aging Anelka and Drogba.

Whilst Manchester City are aiming to replace outgoing Tevez with Aguero so that they won’t miss ‘Carlitos’ so much for next season should he really leave in the summer.

Alex Ferguson Opens Door For Ronaldo

Another Madrid player whom is unsettled. Reported by be on the transfer list for a value of 150 million euros following a row with Joe Mourinho, Christiano Ronaldo has been linked with a sensation return to Man Utd as the Sun here mentions:

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has opened the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to make a sensational return to Old Trafford.

The Sun

So a Manchester United return for the Real Madrid man? Who knows!

Arsene Wenger shows signs of dropping his transfer policy? Noooo, right?

Probable the most useless and un-newsworthy article of the day. Arsene Wenger has apparently said to The Daily Mirror that a move for French striker Karim Benzema “doesn’t seem impossible”. A player that will cost over £20 million and will require over £100,000 per week?

It’s Arsene Wenger for goodness sake, the Daily Mirror certainly need to buck up their ideas.
