Arsenal BID for Blackburn defender?

Here’s some pretty surprising stuff from the Daily Mail. They don’t claim that Arsenal are just considering or even pondering a move for Blackburn defender Chris Samba, instead they are claiming that Arsenal have already submitted an 8 million pound bid for the central defender.

Still wondering whether Arsene Wenger would want to lose 8 million pounds on a single player, not really something that we see very often, but would be a more than adequate replacement for the out-going French defender Sebastian Squilacci in the summer.

Aquilani set to move back to Liverpool FC

As Juventus finally announced the signing of Andrea Pirlo from AC Milan, the move has thrown the future of Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani in doubt, with the midfielder’s hopes for his ‘dream move’ to Juventus set to be demolished by the transfer signing of Pirlo.

Antonio Conte, Juventus’ new manager has confirmed that Alberto Aquilani did not feature in his plans to rebuild Juventus into a title challenger once more following the sacking of former manager Luigi Del Neri. The Daily Mail insists that Juventus will not make another bid for the Italian.

Chelsea up their bid for Neymar

Another Fernando Torres deal for Chelsea? We might have to wait and see, as Roman Abramovic has upped his interest in Brazilian forward Neymar by raising his bid of 19 million pounds to a mammoth 23 million pounds for the Brazilian International.

It remains to be seen if Neymar’s game will be suited to play in Europe let alone the Barclays Premier League, having no prior experience playing in a European club.

Roman is ready to get personally involved to clinch the signing of Neymar. He’s aiming to talk with him next month to prove how much he is wanted.
