Man Utd and Chelsea are set to miss out on Alexis Sanchez as Barcelona are now favourites to land Chilean superstar.
The 22-year old has been in high demand this summer with Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona all fighting it out for the winger.
But the son of Udinese president Gino Pozzo suggests the Italian side are only dealing with Barcelona over the transfer of Sanchez:
“Negotiations continue with Barcelona. We are waiting for the evolution, even if it’s quite a complex deal,” he told gazzetta.it.
“We continue to work only on (one) table because with Manchester City we never opened the deal; the guy just wants Barcelona.”
Pozzo claimed the forward could still remain in Italy.
“The option that Sanchez remains in Udinese is always valid and if the boy decides to stay we would be very happy,” he said.
