Arsenal threw away a 2-0 goal lead to concede 3 goals in the final 10 minutes to lose 3-2 to Wigan at the DW Stadium.
Theo Walcott gave Arsenal a deserved lead just before half-time, then defender Mikel Silvestre looked to have secured the 3 points for Arsenal with a second just minutes into the second half.
But Wigan midfielder Ben Watson began the fightback on 80 minutes, before Arsenal goalkeeper Lucas Fabianski gifted Wigan an equaliser after dropping a corner onto the head of Titus Bramble.
Charles N’Zogbia scored a wonder goal for Wigan only a minute later to complete a remarkable turn around.
The win goes a long way to keeping Wigan in the premier league, but leaves Arsenal’s title dreams in tatters.
