Florent Malouda still has sympathy for Carlo Ancelotti over his sacking as Chelsea manager.
The Frenchman claims Ancelotti was unfairly dismissed after he won the double just a year earlier and Malouda, who hit the winner against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, said:
“We won the Double and then Carlo gets fired. It wouldn’t happen to Alex Ferguson.
“But I like the new manager and hope he sticks around. We need consistency.”
Malouda also hailed the £26million capture of Juan Mata from Valencia, adding:
“He’ll be a good addition.”
