BREAKING NEWS: Joe Cole Leaves Liverpool On Loan
By Football Talk Published: 31st August 2011Liverpool have confirmed that Joe Cole has left the club and joined French champions Lille on loan for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old endured a torrid first season at Anfield and struggled with injury. Tottenham and Aston Villa were both thought to be monitoring the former England ace, but he has opted to ply his trade in France next year.
