“I Sign With Arsenal, Very Happy & Excited About It”

By on September 1, 2011

Former Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun has tweeted his delight over his deadline day loan move to Arsenal.

The Israel captain has joined the Gunners on a season long loan after just a season with the Blues. Benayoun career with Chelsea had been blighted with injuries which saw the winger make just 8 appearances for the West London outfit.

The midfielder, who is currently on international duty, was also linked with a return to Liverpool but instead opted for a switch across London and he wrote on Twitter:

“I sign with Arsenal, very happy and excited about it, but now my head is only in the game against Greece on Friday, thanks for the support.”
