Spurs Ace Wants To Re-Build Career

By on September 6, 2011

Niko Kranjcar is determined to re-establish himself at Tottenham this season.

The Croatian was expected to leave this summer with Everton and Sunderland reportedly keen to sign the midfielder, but a move failed to materialise. Kranjcar is hoping to become a Tottenham regular after spending the majority of last season warming the bench and he has started the first three games:

“Of course it was a difficult time for me last season. I enjoy being here at Spurs. I always think about the club first but I love playing football and it’s tough when you are not doing that.

“I didn’t get my chances last season but every time I was selected I gave it my best because that is the way I was brought up.

“Now I’m trying to do the same this season.”

Take note Harry so when Modric’s head is not in the right place and he does not want to play, we have a man that does!

You know something Niko’s absolutely correct, he got few chances last year from our moronic manager, Rednapp, even when the team played badly “down the stretch, despite the fact that Niko scored 2 wonder goals late in games to give us the 3 points each time. He has been a model professional unlike the Croatian Rat Modric. He may not be as good, as the Rat, but rather Niko than a whinging, lazy “little girl’s blouse” like Modric!
