arsenal still need a good striker..someone who is not only a good finisher but also a good feeder!!!someone who combines well with van persie.all the big clubs have them..david villa has messi and pedro.drogba had maluda and annelka.pato has robiniho.jevier hernandez has rooney and now young and nani.dzenko has aguero and silva.andy carol(even if he hasn’t scored yet) has suarez and kuyt.higuain and benzema have the likes of cristiano ozil and di maria who are all feeders.even spurs have van der vart that plays behind the front man.
sorry but i see walcott more of a front man.

We have Arteta, Benayoun, Gervinho, Chamberlain, Myaichi and Park, all perfectly capable of playing that role. The type of play you’re describing though is 4-4-2 we don’t play that style.
We have feeders at our club, plenty of them. What we’re missing is midfielders that will make runs into the box quickly to back up Van Persie and get us goals.
Wait and see, our Carling cup squad will be back to the reserves again this year and we have an excellent reserve squad.

you say our mielfield is lacking when last year arsenal had nasri fabregas and whilsher three incredibly highly rated midfielders in the world and still failed…man united didn’t had one midfielder that it was even song caliber(i say had becouse this year anderson really stepted up and is one of the best midfielders in the EPL)and about arsenal’s 4-5-1…i think is the problem..a team can’t never play the same formation an entire year and I BELEVE THAT is the reason why arsenal is becoming very predicteble against teams like stock, bolton etc…it should be a change depending the squad we are facing.and no there aren’t feeders feeders in arsenal…there isn’t anyone who playes behind the frontman and controles the tempo of the attack…and about the arsenals midfielders…they are still top class:song, ramsey, wilsher and even freempong.arsenals midfield has never been week you say that only bcz fabregas and nasri left.

You have forgotten le Nani of Man Utd.

But true, we should not stick to just one formation..

The interesting thing is he that OX and Lansbury could only get getter.

OX, Lansbury, Walcott, Jack, Miguel, Aneke, Campbell and Garlindo are the future of Arsenal.

      Really like
      Vela
      Jet
      randall
      afobe
      hoyte
      gibbs
      watt
      cruise
      bentley
      fabregas
      nasri
      clichy
      flamini
      bendtanr
      diaby
      denilson

these were all the future of Arsenal right?
Just the same old circle every year, AKB keep syaing this team will be the future, then that team, then the other No it wont so stfu. Untill wenger actually mixes winners and experinced pros with the young kids nothing will change. ferguson has mastered this down to a bloody art. If anyone is realying on Walcott to be the future of Arsenal god help the fans and the club.

If we are to consider any of these youngsters to be the future, then look at the British as they are the most likely to stay. Then if we start winning things, the foreign youngsters are going to want to stay at a successful club.

AOX already looks more poised than walcott was at his age. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is better in a few years.

Put AOX on the wing and Walcott up front with RVP!

The successes of Arsenal’s recent past relied on a decent defense. A good defense means confidence against any opposition, which spreads to the attack. In this respect, Arsenal are half-way there. Cahill in January is the key.
