TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal Must Battle Barca To Sign £9m Wonderkid

Arsenal will go head-to-head with Barcelona over the signing of Spain’s latest teen prodigy, Francisco Alcácer.

Alcácer is on the radar of Europe’s elite with the La Liga champions favourites to the land the 18-year old. The Valencia striker burst onto the scene as 16-year old two years ago making his debut for the reserves and has amassed 54 appearances in the Spanish second-tier where he has scored 33 goals.

Barca and Arsenal have a fraught relationship, with the Catalans claiming the Gunners have poached a number of their most promising youngsters.

The transfer feud over the signing of Cesc Fabregas eight years ago has been the most publicised but and in recent years Arsenal have also signed the talented duo Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral.

Now the pair are set to lock horns once more over Alcácer with the youngster valued at around £9million.

    Yet another kid. Wenger must be crazy. If he soen’t get the present ,right he can forget about two years down the road.

    if this so called professor, not suspended i tell you the truth, all arsenal fans, lovers, supporters and directors and share holders of the club will not ssee joy, you cant convice me you are buying a wonder kid whom you going to send on loan, come on this must be second gadafhi in footballworld
