Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger Ready To Pounce For Brazilian-Born Youngster

By on September 23, 2011

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Barcelona youngster Rafa Alcantara with a view to making a move to capture the teenager in January.

The promising midfielder has been producing some eye catching displays in Barca’s B team with suggestions the Brazilian is on the fringes of the first team.

Despite being born in football’s capital, the playmaker has opted to represent Spain and is a regular in the under 19’s squad. Rafa is the brother of Thiago Alcantara, who was also thought to be a target for Arsenal this summer, and is yet to ink a new deal at the Nou Camp with Wenger ready to pounce if the Sao Paulo born youngster opts for a move away from the La Liga champions.

Wenger has boobed big time. He has actually been doing it without being cautioned and he thought all is well. All these players we lost coz he did’nt ensure they signed extensions in time: Edu and Framini come to mind but we also wasted loadsamoney bringing donkeys that were thought to become horses:Diaby, Bendtner and Djourou.
They are others who were pants from the start like Squillacci and I dont think it takesbig imagination to see that Kopcelny aint gonna be another Tony Adams either.

It tookan an own goal for Wenger to realise that our defence is made worse by having a non-existent DM. Things happening at the back now never existed when we had Gilberto. Song has been letting down CBs for a while. Djourou is not better than Senderos and Wilshere is not a DM either.

I could go on but I say let him stay on condition he takes us top 4 and win uis something( no matter what)otherwise he should be left to go.
