[UPDATE] Theo Walcott Injury….

Arsenal sources have confirmed the injury Theo Walcott picked up on Saturday is ‘minor’ and he’s in-line to face Olympiakos on Wednesday.

Walcott pulled up late-on during this weekend’s 3-0 win over Bolton with initial fears he had pulled a hamstring which would have ruled him out for at least 2-3 weeks. However it became apparent the injury was not the hamstring after Theo described ‘a sharp pain in his knee’ was the problem.

Arsene Wenger had feared he could lose the speedster for a crucial week where Arsenal face Olympiakos on Wednesday in the Champions League followed by a North London derby on Sunday at White Hart Lane. But club sources claimed today the injury in a ‘minor’ one and they are now hopeful Walcott will be fit to play on Wednesday.
