Arsenal Transfer News: Wenger Dealt Blow In £30m Wonderkid Chase

By on September 29, 2011

Real Madrid and Arsenal are set to go toe-to-toe over the signing of Lille star Eden Hazard, according to reports.

Wenger missed out on the Belgian winger in the summer, with the player himself deciding to remain in Ligue 1 for one more season. The Mirror reports that Real Madrid director of football Zinedine Zidane has also put Hazard at the top of his hit-list and told the youngster not to entertain any approach from Arsenal, with Madrid entering the race to sign him.

The Spanish giants are still pondering a move for the 20-year old, and will continue to track the youngster throughout the season and deicide in the summer whether or not to sanction a move for the £30million rated wide man. Madrid’s interest in Hazard will be a bitter blow for Wenger who was hoping to rekindle his interest next summer.

It serves Wenger right. His shrewd approach to transfer dealings is hitting him back in the face. He should have gotten Hazard at the start of the summer transfer market. But the wise one left it too late.

You can’t blame wenger. You got to blame rich Chinese businessmen for not buying stakes in arsenal so we will have more money to spend n break our meager wage structure because the current owners are fking misers

When does AW ever do what these rumour mongers say he will? Eden Hazard will NOT come to Arsenal, and neither will any other top names. When the board say they will spend multi millions on players, they do not say that they will stick to the wage structure. Will any player that has cost £25-30m come to Arsenal for under £90,000 a week? When Citeh would pay him twice that? Or Barca, Man ure or Chelsea can at least guarantee challenging for trophies? Stop believeing the BullShit, and look at what our board dont say, instead of what they do say.

If the Club can pay Diaby 60k per week then the wages structure is not meagre but seriously flawed.
