Arsenal Thoughts Now Turn To Tottenham Tie

By on September 29, 2011

Arsenal No2 Pat Rice admits they’re pleased with their Champions League win over Olympiakos, but all thoughts now switch to their derby game with Tottenham on Sunday.

The Gunners travel to White Hart Lane this weekend hoping to get their season back on track, after their difficult start to the campaign. Rice hopes the victory against the Greek outfit will stand them in good stead for what will be a far more difficult test.

“Needless to say we will be very, very happy with the three points,” Rice said.

“That is a completely different ball game at Tottenham.

“The most important thing for us was to win, because it takes us closer to qualifying.

“We will think more about the Tottenham game when we all get together again on Friday.”
