REPORTS: Arsenal’s Miss Out On £30m Eden Hazard

Arsenal’s long term interest in Eden Hazard looks to end in disappointment after reports suggest the forward has signed a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid.

It appears that Arsenal may well have missed out on long-term target, Eden Hazard, after the starlet looks set to join Real Madrid.

The Belgian, according to reports, will join Spanish giants Real Madrid having signed a pre-contract agreement with Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of a £30m move. The news will be a devastating blow to Arsenal who have been tracking Hazard for years and it’s been suggested Arsene Wenger was ready to make a January move in order to help get Arsenal’s season back on track following a disappointing start.

Madrid are looking to wrestle the European dominance away from fierce rivals Barcelona this year after several years in the shadow of the Catalans, and it will be hoped that Hazard can be a large part of their glamorous attacking options. Zinedine Zidane, Real’s Director of Football and former player, is said to have played a large part in constructing the deal say Gazzetta dello Sport, with the Frenchman reportedly telling Hazard personally that his future should lie in Madrid.
