Spanish giants and European Champions Barcelona are considering a move for Chelsea defender Ashley Cole, according to reports.
Reports in various tabloids suggest Coach Pep Guardiola’s priority is a left-back and the England veteran has topped his wish-list, with a January move being lined up.
The 31-year old would cost the reigning La Liga Champions in excess of £12million, but Guardiola must persuade Barca president Sandro Rosell to make a move for the former Arsenal man and convince him the outlay will be justified despite the lack of potential sell on value.
