The worst kept secret in football that is Marouane Chamakh’s move to Arsenal, looks to be a step closer today as the player is thought to have arrived in London to finalise the deal according to Sky Sports News.

The transfer has been common knowledge for the best part of 3 months now with the player giving several major hints in the past few weeks that he was going to be signing for the Gunners. All that remians is to see a photo of him standing next to Arsene Wenger in his new Arsenal shirt on Arsenal.com. Chamakh is poised to sign a long-term contract with the transfer announced in the next couple of days.

His signing will be a good start to the transfer window for Arsenal fans, although most will have already come to terms with him being an Arsenal player already, such is the anti-climax that is his official signature will bring. But at least it’s good to see Wenger getting business done quickly.

Well i quite appreciate dat and gud welcoming development for d gunners but one thing i will like to advise AW is dat he should not take it too personal, most especially his decision about d club dat is final and seeing himself as an authority dat superceed all. Gunners 4 ever till i die

go AW.. beef up the squad and keep them together for at least for this coming season…let Arteta learn the trade before releasing Fab…get an experience hard DM like Inler, Parker, Yaya or Diara M. while Song rove better see the best of Fab…We need more than MChamakh up front..get a strong black striker..

As intelligent as he is, arsene Wenger is the most conservative and selfish coach, always putting the supporters under avoidable pressures. I hope God will change him this season.

The Liberian fans are praying the deal with MChamakh goes thru. Arsene Wenger please add a DM to assist Song in the Midfield and a World Class Goalkeeper.
    Gunners 4 Life!!!
