Where Next For Tevez? Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, United, Or Maybe Chelsea?

After Carlos Tevez’s agent revealed the striker would like a move to a Premier League club, we look at where the Argentine could realistically end up in January….

The Carlos Tevez saga continues to rumble on. So much so, that everyone is pretty much fed up and would rather be talking about what crazy shenanigans Mario Balotelli is getting up to.

I mean, who cares about an Argentinian who doesn’t want to play football? I’d rather hear about an Italian who flicks through naughty magazines next to his girlfriend, sets fireworks off in his own bathroom only to become his club’s ambassador for fire safety and then builds a quad-bike track in his own back garden.

But seen as though Tevez is still actually at Manchester City and things are being said about him, we’ll try to forget about Super Mario for a little while.

Reports in the tabloids state that the want-away South American would welcome a move to another Premier League club. That comes after months of the general consensus being that Tevez was homesick and was holding out for a move back home. His advisor Kia Joorabchian today revealed:

‘His family are now living in England, so he’s quite happy and settled.’

Perhaps the lack of football is really starting to play on the 28 year-old’s mind, and maybe a move to any club willing to give him a game is beginning to appeal to him. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted last week that he would love to have Tevez at White Hart Lane, but doubts he could afford him.

I’m sure that’s the same for most top-flight teams, so who realistically could take him off City and manager Roberto Mancini’s hands?

Well, the obvious choice is Chelsea. After all, a return to Manchester United is out of the question, and its unlikely Arsenal will take a gamble on his mercurial talents or be able to afford his wages, while Liverpool have Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.

So a switch to Stamford Bridge could be the only realistic route out of Eastlands for the Citizens’ No.32, unless of course he fancies Newcastle in the winter? After all, they look set for Champions League football this time next year.
