Reina – Rivals No Match For Confident Liverpool

Liverpool stopper Pepe Reina was pleased with his side’s performance in their win at West Bromwich Albion but is keen for the Reds to maintain their current level of performance.

Kenny Dalglish’s side comfortably won the match 2-0, but despite the clean sheet the Spaniard insists winning is more import than keeping the other team at bay. Reina also feels if Liverpool can continue to play well, not many sides are a match for them:

“It’s always nice when the team is defending well and we keep a clean sheet,” he told liverpoolfc.tv.

“But I just want to win matches and I’d take a 2-1 for us every time.

“After beating West Brom everyone is happy. The team is playing really well so we are confident.

“We know that if we are playing to our level not many teams will beat us so we have to keep that level up.

“We just want to keep the momentum going and keep playing the same as we are now.”
