TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea Face Competition For £10m Brazilian

By on November 3, 2011

Chelsea and Inter Milan will battle it out for Porto midfielder Fernando, according to reportings.

Italian media suggest Porto are considering making the 24-year old available in the January transfer window with the club looking for around £10 million.

Chelsea have been linked with the combative midfielder, with Andre Villas-Boas keen to strengthen his defensive midfield options due to the long term fitness worries over Michael Essien, and Fernando remains a possibility for the west London outfit.

However, the Blues will face stiff competition from Italian giants Inter Milan who are also monitoring his situation.

i think is about time the manager takes full control of the squad,he should bring players who can help him succeed some are not ready to learn to play so they should go for others to come in.
