Liverpool – 4 Youngsters Being Linked With A January Move To Anfield

By on November 4, 2011

Too early for January transfer window discussions? I say it’s never to early, so here are the realistic and ideal moves for Liverpool this winter.

4. Marco Bueno, Pachuca, 17 years old

A little to obvious? Well, here’s one that is highly likely to happen in the January transfer window. The Mexican forward has already had a trial with Liverpool recently and it is believed that the club are impressed by his talent.

Comparisons have been drawn to Manchester United’s young striker Javier Hernandez, with his instinctive finishing ability in the box, although the Mexican tends to have better all around ability, with him being able to be involved with build-up play more, unlike his compatriot.

3. Gaston Ramirez, Bologna, 20 years old

Perhaps one that less Liverpool fans have heard of, but Liverpool are interested in the midfielder. Interestingly, he is a Uruguayan, like Suarez and Coates, so we definitely have the language, culture, and the people to persuade the 20 year old playmaker to come to Merseyside sometime soon.

Liverpool are still intent on adding talent for the future, and they see the 20 year old as an ideal fit, so don’t be surprised if this move happens in January.

2. Leandro Damiao, Internacional, 22 years old

At 22-years-old, he might be little old for this list, but he just makes the cut. Quick, skillful and with a bagful of tricks up his sleeve, he would provide an excellent partnership with our Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez should he move in the January transfer window.

Operating as a striker, Damiao has a very high work rate and would team up well should he move to Liverpool. Already linked to Liverpool in the summer of 2011, although the move didn’t materialise things could be rekindled in January.

1. Eden Hazard, Lille, 20 years old

This one’s perhaps a 50/50. Hazard has been pretty much praying for a move to a bigger club for quite a while now, with nobody willing to match his £40 million pound price tag just yet. I still think that that price tag will drop fairly significantly come the next few transfer window.

Liverpool are still among the teams mentioned to be interested in the Belgian superstar, with Damien Comolli apparently being intrigued by the youngster’s talent. Playing time will be the pull factor for Liverpool, with there being considerably less elsewhere, comparing to a club of similar stature.

Have just watched the 1dt half v Swansea and think that it matters little who we get as long as we buy people with talent this time instead of the likes of Henderson Adam and Downing! All a bunch of carthorses sharing ONE brain!
