Chelsea – £18m Striker Rules Out Move

By on November 6, 2011

Chelsea starlet Romelu Lukaku will not be going out on loan this January, according to his agent.

The 18-year old Belgian wonderkid has failed to make an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge since his £18m summer arrival from Anderlecht, but his agent, Roger Henrotay, reveals his client is not leaving west London.

Rumours had suggested that Malaga and AC Milan were lining up loan offers for the striker dubbed the “new Drogba” but his agent admits there is no chance of Lukaku moving.

“His future is clear. He will not move in January, he will definitely stay in London,” he told Calciomercato.it.

“The rumours about Malaga and Stoke City? No, I repeat, Romelu will stay at Chelsea where he is very happy and he will not change jerseys.

“I’m sorry but there is no possibility of him moving to the Rossoneri.”

The striker has featured five times for the Blues this season, although mainly as a substitute, and has yet to net his first goal for the club.
