Spurs Ace – We Should Finish Above Arsenal

By on November 10, 2011

Steven Pienaar remains confident that Tottenham will finish above North London rivals Arsenal this season.

Tottenham enter the international break perched three points above neighbours Arsenal in the Premier League table and the South African would love to secure north London bragging rights come the end of the season.

“We don’t speak about it but of course you want to finish above your neighbours. It’s a good feeling,”‘ he said. “Hopefully the way things are going we should finish above them. Then it will feel good walking around north London.”

The midfielder has only made eight appearances for the club since his switch from Everton last January.

It does feel good walking around north london knowing that your team is the best but unfortunately, spurs fans will never know how that feels.

It’s possible. The season is young, Spurs are looking pretty solid, and injuries are likely to affect teams all across the table.

The question will be who can remain healthy, and who will get the goals (and the stops) when they need them.
