AC Milan are ready to push through a January swoop for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, according to reports.
Several news outlets are claiming the Italian giants are keeping tabs on the Ivory Coast striker’s situation, after he refused Chelsea’s latest attempts to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
The 33-year old is no longer deemed an automatic first choice and is out of contract next summer. If he does not ink a new deal, Drogba will be entitled to speak to clubs over a summer move, but Milan are reportedly keen to bring the striker to the San Siro in January.
Drogba remains a fan of the city of Milan and reports suggest the powerhouse would be open to a move to Italy. The Rossoneri have a three-man shortlist for a new striker, and Drogba is at the head of the pile, which also includes Catania’s Maxi Lopez and Roma’s Marco Borriello.

Im pleased to this news, let the out dated plyers leave, cos they re no longer needed at chelsea, the likes of drogba, anelka, malouda, lampard must give us a space we knew they contributed much but their time at chelsea seems to be fading away. i suggest we swap pato for drogba. And look back to modric,
