Manchester United Move For Kaka

Manchester United have made enquiries for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham target Kaka, according to reports in Spain.

Manchester United have made enquiries for Real Madrid play-maker Kaka, according to reports in Spain.

Kaka has been linked with a move to Premiership rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in recent months but according to Spanish outlet Sport, Sir Alex Ferguson is also interested in bringing the Brazilian superstar to England.

It’s reported that Fergie contacted Real Madrid in November with a view to signing Kaka in January, but president Florentino Perez insisted the player was not available for transfer, although rumours continue to link the 29-year-old with a move away from the Bernabeu.

The former AC Milan ace has struggled to live up to his reputation in Spain after suffering a series of injuries since his €68 move in 2009, making only 49 appearances so far in his Madrid career.

This has lead to a host of clubs being linked with a move to sign Kaka but Sport claim that Madrid would only be interested in selling to United if they were to include Wayne Rooney in any deal, which is highly unlikely given the Englishman’s stature at Old Trafford.
