Why, oh why is Vermaelen starting?? If he gets injured tonight I will be furious with Wenger. This game is essentially meaningless so why is Miquel not starting??

Nothing wrong with having a couple of experienced players in there, they don’t hsvr to play a full game and will help the younger players learn. Spot on!

True Stewart but there’s only Frimpong, Coquelin, & the Ox who are young. Squid & Cham are meant to be going in Jan so their inclusion is a daft one immediately. 2 spots that could have gone to youngsters straight away.
