Wayne Rooney has had his 3-game England ban reduced to 2 games, after a successful appeal hearing this morning.
The Manchester United striker attended a personal hearing with England manager Fabio Capello and they have successfully persuaded a UEFA disciplinary panel to reduce the ban to 2 games, with the 3rd game suspended for 4 years.
Rooney will now be able to take part in England’s final Euro 2012 group game against Ukraine.
