The agent of Federico Macheda has revealed the striker is set to leave Manchester United during the January transfer window.
The Italian youngster shot to fame with a vital winning goal during United’s 3-2 win over Aston Villa in 2009, which helped the Red Devils go on to win the Premier League title that year.
However, the 20-year-old has failed to push on and claim a regular first team place at Old Trafford and has only made five appearances this season, most of which have come as a substitute.
Macheda’s agent Giovanni Bia has confirmed the striker will leave the club in January after discussions with Sir Alex Ferguson.
“I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson and I believe he will go and play elsewhere. He needs to play and there is not a place for him at Manchester,” said Bia.
“There are many offers but only from abroad. We will assess them all in the first week of January.”

Don’t you think you should mention it is a loan that they are discussing and not make it sound like United are getting rid of him. This is how the media works by not telling the whole truth, nothing but trouble makers!!!
