Robin van Persie scored his 35th goal of 2011 to guide Arsenal to a 1-0 victory over QPR at the Emirates. The Dutchman cooly finished into the bottom corner off an Arshavin pass. While Van Persie failed to surpass Alan Shearers record of 36 goals in a calendar year, he did break a club record after going one better than Thierry Henry and became the first Gunner to reach 35 goals in a year. i have complete faith in mr.wenger to guide us to some trophies this season!
How can he be the first gunner to reach 35 goals in a year, if Henry got 35 which you mentioned. F**king retard.
Bin Laden, I think you are the retard here, coz its true Van Persie is the first player to hit 35 for Arsenal, coz Henry hit 34, which RVP already reached during the Aston Villa when he slotted the penalty. Go get some info on Arsenal, and be the real fan by knwing stats instead of hurling unnecessary insults. Happy New Year
