[VIDEO GOALS] Man Utd 3-0 Bolton: Scholes Scores As United Go Level With City

Manchester United moved level on points with Manchester City at the top of the league with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bolton at Old Trafford, as Paul Scholes scored on his first start after returning to United. Wayne Rooney missed the chance to open the scoring, seeing his penalty well saved by Bolton keeper Bodgan. However, Scholes opened the scoring after Wayne Rooney’s pass found him at the far post.

United went 2-0 ahead when Welbeck slipped the ball past Bogdan after being put through by Rooney and the home side finished the game off when Carrick made it 3-0 with a long range strike. Watch the highlights here.
