Morning Gooners. It’s relatively quite on the transfer front today but there is one interesting piece of news in the Mirror, who say Monaco are willing to take Sebastien Squillaci off our hands.

Monaca are currently in the second division of French football after being relegated last year, but new billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev has made funds available this month to strengthen the squad and the Mirror report that they have identified Squillaci as a potential signing.

Lets be honest, the 31-year-old has been a disaster since arriving in North London. He made several costly errors last season and Arsene Wenger seems to have learn’t his lesson as Squillaci has hardly kicked a ball for the first team this year.

In his only league outing he played for the last 10 minutes against Fulham and managed to provide a superb assist for Bobby Zamora to smash home the winner. Good work Seb.

A seven day deadline has been put in place for a deal to be agreed. If Wenger manages to persuade Monaco to have him, I’ll drive Squillaci to France myself.

Worst defender I have ever seen in an Arsenal shirt, I wish he had already left.
