FA Cup Quarter Final Draw – Big Boys Avoid Each Other

By  Published: 19th February 2012

The draw for the quarter finals of the FA Cup has taken place this afternoon and all the favourites were kept apart in what was a favourable draw for the big boys.

Liverpool or Brighton will have a home tie against Stoke City, Chelsea or Birmingham will face Leicester City, Tottenham or Stevenage will play Bolton and Everton drew Sunderland.

Both Chelsea and Tottenham will have to navigate fifth round replay’s after the Blues drew 1-1 with Birmingham City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday while Spurs drew 0-0 with League One Stevenage today. But should they both progress, the three bookies favourites; Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea, will all have home ties in the Quarter finals and will be strong favourites to make the semi’s.

Ties will be played the weekend of March 17th.
