Arsenal reserves continued their excellent recent run with a well deserved 1-0 win away to Newcastle on Tuesday night. January signing Thomas Eisfeld got the winner inside the first twenty minutes as Neil Banfield’s men recorded their sixth victory in their last seven games.

It was a very different side from the team that drew with Liverpool three weeks ago, the most notable inclusion was Conor Henderson who was starting his first game in eight months after recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury.
