1.carrick is not a traitor.that a player wants to better himself from the money point of view,and to go to a top club is a normal ambition.2 he never realised his early promise.so hes listed.scott parker is a better player,who has rejected spurs in the past.the past is the the past.hes available,go for him.

I think Micah Richards would be an excellent signing. A season or so back he was the “next best thing” in an England shirt. You don’t become a bad player overnight and he has all the tools to be a class act for us. A new start at the Lane and I think we’d see the next England right back.

For Carrick, take him or leave him. Good player but better than Hudd..?? Doubt it!

All the rumours about Bellamy, all I can say on that one is MY GOD, NO THANKS…!!!

I’m still waiting for reality to prevail. Been listening to transfer speculations for over a year now.
My suggestion : Chairman/Management/Coaching staff to urgently meet. Weed out those they consider not playable ( only after giving them a 2nd chance to prove themselves). Check on your budget and buy young with long term playing carreer.

Carrick is not a traitor and never been treated as one, he turned up against Spurs at the lane and never been booed, infact he always received a huge cheer from the fans, Carrick over Parker ANYTIME..He is a class above Parker.

Making the squad stronger isn’t really needed- what is needed is making the team better- and that means a striker with real presence, consistency, quality- who performs well in the big games- this is a MUST!

well they would make the squad stronger but i think scot parker and possibly richards would be more helpfull as our midfield and defence seems to need that little bit more bite in it or hangerlar from fulham (hope i spelt his name right !) as i believe you need midfielders that can win the ball and pass parker has that energy about him that carrick doesn’t i know carrick plays a more holding role which allows other players to get forwards but the secret is to have players who can do either in the midfield which parker can
