I really hope you are correct. The way Barca have conducted themselves in their pursuit of Cesc is disgraceful. I am certain nothing will be done by UEFA, which I don’t understand. Why even have the laws against tapping up? It’s hard for me to recall a more blatant case of tapping up.

As for Frey, I would be quite happy. Much rather him than Schwarzer.

I had also heard these rumours and think they have actually already been reported to UEFA but there was no action during the world cup.
Its about time they were given a spanking, but I doubt anyone will do it. A transfer freeze would kill their non-existent cash flow at the moment.
