[Video] Emmanuel Eboue Attacked By Besiktas Fans Again

By on April 18, 2012

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has once again been on the end of some terrible abuse while playing for Galatasaray against rivals Besiktas.

Eboue was pelted with bottles in the reverse fixture last November and he was the target of some ‘fans’ once again on Monday. This time the Besiktas supporters not only threw bottles at the Ivorian, but a couple of idiots even entered the pitch to confront Eboue. Luckily they were stopped by security but it understandably left the player visibly upset.

Some are suggesting Eboue’s rough treatment is race-related, but the Besiktas fans claim they hate him because of his play-antics on the pitch. Either way, there is no excuse for the abuse he’s received in Turkey.

Where is FiFa and Platter now!

Maybe they will suggest Eboue and the fans shake hands and all will be well?

This is sad to see again. What is wrong with people that they feel they need to hurt and intimidate a young man over a game of football. I love football and I’m incredibly passionate about my team but this is totally disgraceful. These fans should be charged with assault and be given life-long bans from all sporting arenas.

ha ha ha ha ha!! he deserves everything he gets. all cheaters deserve this sort of reception. Just because cheating is deemed accepabtle the PL, doesnt make it wrong that other leagues dont accept it. If eboooooooe want respect, he has to earn it, and to earn it he has to play fair and stop his diving antics.

He was the biggest disgrace to pull on an Arsenal shirt and he will be forever known as a dirty filthy cheat.

the only embarassment here is the fact that this clown we’re talking about once wore the arsenal shirt. he is a disgrace to football, but more importantly he was a disgrace to Arsenal, and for that he has no sympathy from me.

Eboue does provoke the fans, but no excuses for this type of behaviour, albeit not racist, it is still unacceptable.

Let’s hope the small minority of BJK fans pay for their actions.

Besiktas fans cant take it because galatasaray was beating them 2-0 not only that galatasaray is 22 points on top of besiktas galatasaray is the best team in turkey just smashing teams left right and center

surely if that was the case they would be throwing stuff at all of Gala’s players? but they wernt, were they? which goes to show that they genuinly have an issue with eboooooooe’s pathetic theatrics.

personally i think we should be allowed to do this in the PL. Drogba would be stonned to death within the first 10mins of saturdays match 😛
